These are fun times together, with lots of laughter as well as singing!

Music Memories Sessions

We also provide Music Memories sessions for people who are perhaps vulnerable in some way or another. We work to provide experiences where people can express themselves more fully than they might be able to in other environments. The use of music and singing allows people to use the words of others to express how they feel. These workshops take place within community and residential settings, and in private homes; so if you are interested in what these sessions can do for you, or you are a provider or volunteer and could work with us, then please get in touch.

Training and Consultation

If you are looking for training for staff or you would like to understand more about how music can enhance relationships and how to use music to build more enhanced lives then we have different training options for you. We provide an introduction to music workshops that includes looking at the base upon which a workshop might be built.

The introduction training will help you do establish aims for running a group and assist in developing practical examples of how to develop a group that provides a positive experience for those who attend.

We can build on the introduction session by:

  • providing a more in depth session that consider the group dynamics and how to manage them.

  • looking at the importance of group ownership and how to construct a session.

We can also provide consultation. You may have established your workshop and it may be going well and achieving some of the outcomes you have hoped for. Sustaining a group like this often means having boundless energy and drive and it is not always easy to find that within a leadership team that is working primarily on their own.

Where do I find new ideas?

How do I sustain myself emotionally when working with vulnerable people?

The Forget Me Notes Project can provide a consultation/supervision service that can help you. We can organise a time at your convenience and within your budget to meet together and discuss the group, look at new research in relation to music and how to use it more effectively. We can tailor our support to your needs!

Not sure if this is for you ?  The following clip shows how music can unlock doors for people:

We would love to use music to help unlock doors for you or the people you work with, so please get in touch to explore what would be possible.
